The Tiny Dove pendant was originally hand carved in wax and then cast in sterling silver using the traditional method of lost wax casting. 
 
The Tiny Dove is suspended on a 1.8 mm oval link belcher chain. The chain has been divided so that the Tiny Dove always stays at the front and the lobster catch remains at the back and doesn't creep round.
 
The Tiny Dove measures beak to wing tip approx. 13 mm and head to bottom of tail approx. 12 mm. The chain measures approx. 425mm (16 and three quarters of an inch) including the lobster catch and fastenings.
 
There are two options for finish - shiny or shiny with the addition of black oxide to accentuate the shape of Tiny Dove.
 
Joining rings have been securely hand soldered for  security.  The Tiny Dove pendant would work well as part of a layered collection. It's small enough to blend, in yet distictive enough to stand out.
 
The Tiny Dove pendant has been tested and hallmarked as silver as required by Birmingham Assay Office.
